Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is an annual program dedicated to showing K-12 students the importance of computer science education. CSEdWeek is held in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906).
This is what Ms. Davis said students are working on in Technology class on Tuesdays! “For Computer Science Education Week, all classes are participating in Hour of Code activities, but we will be stretching it out for the entire month of December. In Kindergarten, these are the apps/websites we are using: Code Spark Academy - https://thefoos.com/hour-of-code We actually use the app and the students to track their progress. Last week completed the Donut Detective challenge. This week we will be working on the Snoopy Snow Brawl. Kodable - https://game.kodable.com. We will use this later in the month. Tynker - https://www.tynker.com/hour-of-code. “ Below are resources to help students learn about coding, computer science, and technology! I also have fun online games we wouldn’t have without computers, computer science, technology! Enjoy!
Also I have collected all these online websites on my blog so students can play appreciate the technology that goes into creating online games. http://mspalmerskadventure.weebly.com/resources.html ENJOY!
