First you see us... Now you dont! Our marble jar party was a success. All the students had fun being in their costumes, acting like their costumes, and getting their picture taken. Earlier today we even shared show and tell style about our costumes. We added some learning by talking about what sound our costume started with. /Nn/ for Ninja! /Kk/ for Cowgirl /Ss/ for Superman! Then we even said the letter the sound went with! What a blast! I cant wait until we fill our marble jar again! The kids came up with a fun creative way to celebrate our success. Enjoy the long weekend! Please don't forget to read!

Welcome back to Miss Palmer's Kindergarten Adventure! We had a wonderful few days back followed by a snow storm that created a spontaneous long weekend! Everyone please stay safe and warm! As 2018 enters we are reminded of the joy a fresh new year can bring. Perhaps you even created some resolutions? Below are a list of resolutions that you and your family can make to help your student(s). Some are academic and some are health habits that will keep us safe, healthy, learning, and happy in 2018! One way Miss Palmer keeps her goals are by writing them down one at a time. Chose one goal, write it down with your student, stick it on the fridge and work on Resolutions -continue reading 30 minutes per night with your child. -playing learning games with students (January Extra Skills Packet) -play learning games with students (online games & apps) -practice clean healthy living. Wash and sanitize hands often, practice coughing in your elbow, reminding students to keep hands out of noses, mouths and face to stay germ free! :) |
